COVID-19

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve our goal as consultants and tax advisors is to help you stay up to date with the tax and small business relief offered and to make the process of filing and paying your taxes as stress-free as possible.

TAX UPDATE

Both the IRS and Missouri have officially extended the time to file 2019 tax returns to July 15, 2020 with no extension needed. This includes all balances due and estimated tax payments for the first quarter of 2020 regardless of the amount due. There are several more components to the economic stimulus legislation and some are being worked on as of now. If you have any questions about these, please give us a call to discuss how it may apply to your specific situation.

OFFICE UPDATE

Currently, our office remains open from Monday through Friday, from 9 am – 5 pm. Some of our staff are working remotely during this time but we are committed to being available to answer any questions you may have as we work together through this difficult time. We understand that many individuals are due refunds and rest assured we are continuing to work through your returns as efficiently as possible.

To facilitate a healthy environment for you and our staff we have closed our office to client traffic. During office hours, we ask that you utilize our front vestibule to drop off your tax documents. There is signage on the doors to provide detailed instructions and we are closely monitoring it. If you are picking up completed tax returns, please call ahead and we will have them waiting for you. After hours, please use our mail slot located in the front door. Your information will be securely locked until we retrieve it the following morning.

We are also suspending all in-person meetings until the virus has run its course. If you would like a meeting, please call us to arrange a call with one of our staff members. 

Our online portal is available 24/7 for uploads as well. Simply log in to your ShareFile account (https://mn-cpa.sharefile.com/Authentication/Login) and securely upload your documents. If you don’t have a ShareFile account you can use this link (Click here) to upload to our administrative file box.
