Tina is a senior accountant specializing in auditing and tax services. She started her career in accounting with Milhouse & Neal, LLP as an intern in 2009. During the course of her career she has worked on numerous audit engagements for our clients. She is a valued member of the assurance team providing research, and audit and review of financial statements. In addition, she is responsible for preparing corporate tax returns and providing her clients with tax planning. She recognizes that each client is different and faces their own unique set of challenges. Her position requires a lot of foresight as well as the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, and this is an aspect that she really enjoys.

Tina is originally from Romania and she relocated to the United States in 1997. Upon graduating from high school, she continued to further her education. A couple of years into her studies Tina and her husband became parents. Due to the demands of motherhood she felt led to put her education on hold. Her family continued to grow and the decision to finish pursuing a degree with two little kids was of course a difficult one. Many of us are not audacious enough to take initiative to return to college after having kids. However, for Tina the desire to have a higher education was very important to her and although the journey would require more effort, persistence and management she knew she could do it. She began actively pursuing her degree, when her oldest daughter was seven and her youngest daughter was just three. By far her greatest joy and accomplishment is her marriage, children, and college education.

She obtained a BA, Accounting degree from Maryville University and is a licensed CPA. She exceeds the annual requirements of the Continuing Professional Education program of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. Tina is a member the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

After her son was born in 2013, Tina was able to modify her work schedule to accommodate her children’s schedule. Like most families with young kids, time with them is often spent running in several different directions. She and her family are very involved in their church and have felt led to participate in Missions. She says that her job at the firm is great because she gets to do work that she enjoys, interact with wonderful clients, and spend her days surrounded by co-workers who are supportive and work together as a team.
